Negros Occidental Provincial Sports Coordinator Anthony Carlo Agustin with the Negros softbelles and their coaches in Delaware, USA.*The Negrense softball girls won the fifth place in the World Series Little League Softball Girls Seniors Division 2022 in Delaware, USA, on Saturday, August 6, Negros Occidental Provincial Sports Coordinator Anthony Carlo Agustin  said  Sunday.The Negros players won 6-5 against the California team to take 5th place, he saidThey earlier lost their bid to qualify for the quarterfinals after losing to the South East Florida Team  7-1.“We will get better next time, we are proud of them”, Agustin said of the Negros players.He said Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson even gave the players a pep talk before the game.*
