The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Wednesday, April 23,  announced the pilot launch of P20 per kg. rice sale in the Visayas, in line with the food security, accessibility, and affordability targets of the Marcos administration. The program’s pilot was announced shortly after a closed-door meeting with President Ferdinand R. A farmer was hacked to death by another farmer over an irrigation dispute in Purok Nangka, Brgy. Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, April 22.Gil Lopez, 57, died after he was allegedly hacked by Arnold Laraño, 35, both of Brgy Quezon, the police said.Maj.
