Capitol to invite some nat’l bets for Panaad fest

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson

The Negros Occidental provincial government is inviting some national candidates for the 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said Friday, Jan. 17.

“We will have some programs and we will be inviting some candidates,” he said.

The festival will be held March 24 to 30, just in time for the campaign period, Lacson said.

The local campaign period for the May 12 polls will be from March 28 to May 10.

Lacson said popular national bands will also be invited to perform at the festival.

Charina Magallanes-Tan is this year’s Panaad sa Negros Festival executive director.*
