Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson received the Safety Seal Certificate of the Negros Occidental Capitol from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday, November 11.
The provincial Capitol in Bacolod City passed the on-site inspection and evaluation on Wednesday.
The Safety Seal signifies the compliance of the Capitol with the minimum health standards required to contain the transmission of COVID-19.
The approval was given by DILG Negros Occidental OIC Provincial Director Roselyn Quintana at the Capitol Social Hall, in the presence of Negros Occ. Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz.
The Inspection and Certification Team for the Safety Seal is composed of representatives from the DILG, Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine National Police.*
