Cherry Pea Maddela, President of CHMI Hotels and Residences, Inc. that owns and manages Acacia Hotels in the country said that the Bacolod Luk Foo Palace is the third branch in the country and the first in the Visayas.
“Luk Foo Palace reached a lot of success in Davao and Manila, so why not bring it to Bacolod where there is a big Filipino-Chinese community,” Maddela said, adding that what they are offering is “authentic Cantonese cuisine” which you cannot find in any other restaurant in the city.
Among their best sellers are the Peking Duck, the live LapuLapu, their sweet and sour pork, cold cuts and noodles that can transport one to Hong Kong where most of their influences come from.
Businessman Willy Au, one of the owners of Luk Foo Palace Bacolod said they will have their official blessing and opening on Friday and they will be opened daily from 10 a.m. until dinner.*
