A man was shot dead by an unidentified suspect at San Juan Baybay Street in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10.
Killed was Weber Mondragon, alias Danny, 51, from Brgy. San Benito, Calatrava town, who sustained a gunshot wound on the head.
Witnesses heard two gunshots coming from the area where the victim was found.
The victim was brought to the San Carlos City Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.
The suspect fled after the incident and a police search is still ongoing.*
