The president of the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees on Friday, January 12, warned of black propaganda being spread against him as the PACE election approaches.
PACE president Ruben Diamante said he will seek help from the National Bureau of Investigation to determine the persons responsible for the spread of the text messages containing false accusations to discredit him.
He is studying taking legal action against those responsible, he said.
“We will see what legal remedies we can take against these below the belt attacks,” he said.
Diamante said his office is open to any queries regarding the black propaganda allegations.

The focus should be on clean and honest elections, Victor Gutang, PACE public information officer, said.
PACE is set to hold the election of five of new directors and its annual general assembly will be held on January 27, Diamante said.
There are eight candidates running for five PACE Board of Director’s seats.
The candidates are Diamante, Venchito Magalona, Raquel Magbanua, Remy Grace Manalo, Randy Paecita, Oliver Piad, Arnel Reyes and Nimrod Sarmoy.
Elections will start at the provincial government’s district hospitals on Monday, and from January 22 to 26 advance voting will be held at the Capitol lobby, Diamante said.*
