Engr. José Albert A. Barrogo took his oath as the first regional executive director of the Department of Agriculture (DA) – Negros Island Region on Thursday , Feb 12.
The oath-taking ceremony of the newly sworn-in officers of the executive branch of government was held Thursday, February 12, at the Malacañan Complex,
Barrogo’s appointment reflects confidence in his leadership, concern, and strong dedication to the development of the agricultural sector and the continued support for the welfare of farmers and fisherfolk in the region, a statement from the DA said.
It is expected that under his leadership, programs and initiatives towards prosperous, stable, and inclusive development for the Negros Island Region and the entire agricultural sector will be further strengthened, it added.*
