
Barangays 12 and Granada claimed the top spots at the Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival 2026, dominating the Street and Arena Dance Competitions, respectively, at Megaworld’s The Upper East on Saturday, May 30.
Thousands of spectators gathered to witness the cultural showcase, where participating groups delivered colorful, high-energy performances inspired by the diverse cultures of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The Saturday afternoon activities began with a float parade featuring creatively designed floats from some of Bacolod’s most iconic chicken inasal establishments and festival partners.
Capping off the day’s activities was the BCIF Rotisserie Show, highlighted Bacolod’s growing reputation not just as the home of the world-famous chicken inasal, but also as a hub for diverse roasted specialties.
Visitors were given the opportunity to sample and experience a variety of lechon and roasted dishes from some of the city’s well-loved establishments.
On Sunday, a chicken inasal cook-off, along with an SMB beer pairing and food tasting event, was held at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.*
