The search for the Miss MassKara Bacolod 2025 queen is on.
The screening of candidates will be at the Northwest Inn in Bacolod City from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. August 9-10, an announcement on the Bacolod City government Facebook page said.
The pageant is looking for a woman who embodies not just beauty, but also intelligence, grace, and the vibrant spirit of Bacolod City, it said.
To qualify, an applicant must be a single woman between 18 and 25 years old who stands at least 5 feet 5 inches tall. She must be a resident of Bacolod City or have Bacolodnon roots up to the third degree.
The candidate must also be at least a high school graduate and cannot have been married or have had a child.
The pageant is also a platform for new faces, as it bars women who have competed in major national or international pageants like Miss Universe Philippines, Bb. Pilipinas, or Miss World Philippines.
Reigning queens from other local government units are also ineligible, though winners of school-based and barangay pageants are welcome to apply.*
