A Baolodnon was electrocuted and died while fixing an internet line on an electric post at Abada Escay, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, on Friday, Feb. 7.
The fatality identified by the police only as alias “Roberto”, 59, of Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, died after he was electrocuted and fell from a 15-foot ladder.
The victim was trying to fix an internet line when he accidentally touched a live wire that sparked, the police said.
Residents heard an explosion and saw the victim lying on the ground with wounds on his head and hands.
He was brought to a hospital but was declared dead.*
