The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized about P1.6 million worth of shabu and arrested nine drug personalities in a series of buy-bust operations from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6.
The BCPO said that from their eight anti-illegal drugs operations, they arrested nine individuals and confiscated 244 grams of shabu worth P1,659,200.
Cases for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 have already been filed against the suspects.
The BCPO also reported that they had arrested seven wanted persons.
The police also conducted six anti-illegal gambling operations, which resulted in the arrest of 24 individuals.*
