The police seized suspected shabu worth P2.8 million and arrested two individuals in a buy-bust operation at Capitol Heights 2, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City, 5:19 a.m. Sunday, July 7.
Arrested were John Matthew Genon, 21, and Laurrianne Libre, 25, of Purok Ylac, Brgy. 1, Bacolod, the police said.
Genon was tagged as a high-value drug target, while Libre was a street-level drug individual.
Bacolod City Police Station 4 operatives seized 420 grams of suspected shabu worth P2,856,000.
The suspects are detained at Bacolod Police Station 4 and will be charged for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, the police reported.*
