The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said a reddish glow was again observed at Kanlaon Volcano on Monday night, signaling continued activity at the summit.  The "banaag," or crater glow, was visible to the naked eye for the second consecutive evening. The phenomenon was captured in a photo by an observer in Canlaon City at around  10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Monday,  Mari-Andylene Quintia, a Phivolcs resident volcanologist, said. Phivolcs officials are now closely tracking the activity to determine the volcano's next move.  Ma.
