The Department of Education Negros Occidental-Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) 18 and under Softball Tournament officially opened Tuesday, April 5, at the Bacolod City National High School.
Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Lacson led the ceremonial pitch of the said sports event.
Also present in the opening ceremonies were Atty. Revsee Escobedo, Usec for Field Operations, Palarong Pambansa Secretariat, BCNHS Principal Allan Pomada, DepEd Negros Occ. Schools Division Superintendent, Marsette Sabbaluca, and Negros Occ. Provincial Sports Coordinator, Anthony Agustin, among others.
The softball tournament will be held until April 7.
