Ang: Bacolod vax cards linked to DITC system

Bacolod also has COVID-19 Vaccination QR (Quick Response) identification cards for its fully vaccinated residents, Em Ang, City Emergency Operations Center executive director, said Wednesday, October 20.

The system has not been launched officially but it is operational, she said, adding that a link will be provided.

Bacolod City will be using the Department of Information and Communications Technology system because it is approved by the World Health Organization and recognized even if one travels abroad, she said.

The Bacolod Management Information Technology and Computer Services will generate the city’s “BACuna Card” that is being pilot tested and can be used by travelers, she said.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson launched the Negros Occidental Monitoring Information System Portal where fully vaccinated Negrenses can download their COVID-19 Vaccination QR identification card on Tuesday afternoon, October 19.

Those whose names have already been uploaded into the system can download their cards at https://mis-negros.com/vaccine/id.*
