Ninety-four law graduates from two universities in Bacolod City passed the 2020/2021 Bar Examination, with three exemplary passers.
The University of Saint La Salle Exemplary Bar Passers are Anya Pauline Yulo Yusay – 2020 salutatorian and Kevin Daniel Locsin Ramos – 2021 valedictorian, USLS College of Law dean Rosanne Rojas Gonzaga said.
The University of Negros Occidental exemplary passer is Jan Ivan Misagal, UNO-R College of Law dean Dodie Opinion Turla said.
A total of 8,241 examinees out of the 11,402 takers nationwide passed, Bar Chairperson Associate Justice Marvic Leonen announced Tuesday, April 12.
He also said there were 761 exemplary passers for obtaining grades from 85 to 90 percent, and 14 examinees who earned “excellent” scores for grades more than 90 percent.
Instead of a Top 10 roster, the Supreme Court released separate lists for exemplary passers and excellent passers, Leonen said.
USLS PASSERS
USLS had a 100 percent passing rate for its first takers and 82.22 percent overall, which is higher than the national average of 72.28 percent, Gonzaga said.
Among the 37 USLS passers is Jose Marty Go of Digicast Negros.
