
Two individuals, including an 8-year-old boy, were found dead in Binalbagan and Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The 8-year-old boy, who was reported missing for about four days, was found dead in a sugarcane field in Sitio Omot, Brgy. Santol, Binalbagan.
Police investigation revealed that the victim was last seen alive on Nov. 19.
There were no injuries or foul play observed, but the child’s body was brought to the Binalbagan Infirmary for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, a 66-year–old man with gunshot wounds was found dead in Sitio Omas, Brgy. Camindangan, Sipalay City.
The victim was found by his son lying in a rice field with gunshot wounds in the chest, the police said.*
