PRO-NIR said heightened police visibility and inter-agency coordination will be maintained throughout the festival to deter criminal activities and respond quickly to security or emergency concerns.
Reales directed deployed personnel to know their assignments, identify possible vulnerabilities in their areas of responsibility and maintain effective communication with their team leaders.
He reminded personnel to observe discipline, professionalism and respect for human rights while carrying out security operations.
