Thirty-four out of the 61 barangay captains and 38 Sangguniang Kabataan heads in Bacolod City have pledged their support to Rep. Greg Gasataya who is seeking re-election in 2022.

They voluntarily conveyed their support to him during a fellowship dinner held recently, Gasataya said on his Facebook page.

“My heart is so full with their sincere show of support and love to me, and that came from my loyal friends and allies particularly, the 34 Punong Barangays who formidably represent their various constituents in the city,” he said.

He said “the fellowship dinner has strengthened our mutual commitment for each other, which will ensure our continued collaboration and partnership in the delivery of services with a heart. And this will indeed trickle down to the welfare of their respective constituents.”

It’s a relationship founded on service they forged long ago, which can stand beyond politics, Gasataya said.
