Three persons, including a former Army man, were arrested by the police for allegedly threatening a housewife to collect a debt at her residence in Barangay 1, Ilog, on Thursday, June 22,
Arrested were former Army man Ruel Repolidon, alias Mark, 36, Rodolfo Oropesa, 35, and Ernie Palaran, 34, the police reported.
Arlene Henarios, 49, told the police they threatened her with a knife.
They were immediately apprehended by the police who recovered a 10-inch scabbard knife, a .45 caliber pistol with live ammunition, a 9mm Taurus revolver with live ammunition, and a 357 caliber revolver with ammunition.
PMaj. Joseph Partidas, Ilog acting police chief, said charges will be filed against the suspects for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and for Grave Threats.*
