Three persons were arrested for alleged robbery in Brgy. Singcang-Airport and Tangub, Bacolod City, on Tuesday, January 30.
The police arrested Arbae Villarosa, 27, and Anthony James Arnaiz, 32, of Bago City, Negros Occidental, after they were caught in the act of stealing from a storage facility in Purok Paghidaet, Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City.
Recovered from the suspects was a window-type air conditioner and a sling bag containing pliers and a screwdriver, the police said.
The police estimated the stolen items to cost P20,000.
The suspects are now detained at the Bacolod Police Station 8.
Meanwhile, Alvin Poyogao, 19, of Purok Rizal, Barangay 14, Bacolod City, was also arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for robbery.
The warrant was issued by Judge Amcel Leyte Mercader of Bacolod Regional Trial Court Branch 48 on December 12.
Bail recommended was P72,000.*
