23rd BILIB Awards on May 25 

The BILIB Awards, an annual event of the AB Communication Department of the University of St. La Salle, spearheaded by the 3rd year communication students,  will be held   at Circle Inn Hotel and  Suites in Bacolod City on May 25.  

For 23 years, the BILIB Awards has been recognizing communication students who have performed excellently in their academics in the fields of Journalism, Development Communication, Broadcasting, Communication Research, Advertising, and the creative arts.  

This year, the BILIB Awards aims to not only award but to also showcase the students’ works, honor the years of service of the faculty, celebrate the presence of the alumni, and award the people’s media choice, a press release from the organizers said. 

The theme of the 23rd BILIB Awards is  “Existence: Exalted On High”. 

“The theme is inspired by the Three Heavens of the Bible, where existence is more than  

what we see; we are more than what we seem,” the press release said.*
