Twenty-one Negrense beauties vying for the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines-Negros Occidental title were presented to the media at sashing rites at SM City Bacolod on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Clad in blue dresses designed by Negrense designers, the contestants were presented and answered questions from the members of the media during their first public appearance as official candidates representing various towns and cities of the province.
The candidates are Bernie Larit of Bago City, Angeline Shaine Javellana of Cadiz City, Mary Anqelique Faye Caballero of Silay City, Allana Brodit of Cauayan, Carvi Lacson of Escalante City, Hannah Eureka Carriedo of Estefania of Bacolod City, Frances Marie Monsale of Granada, Bacolod City, Patricia Ysabel Galapino of Ilog;
Dissa Aduana Figueroa of Kabankalan City, Anika Rose Torres of Kabilog-Pa, Kabankalan City, Precious Ramiragen Batiancila of La Carlota City, Louise Lian Enumerable-Bobe of Murcia, Franches Anne Laquibla of Pontevedra, Ina Marie Hengelmolen of Pulupandan, Brittany Kendylle Gabutina of San Carlos City;

MUPH-NegOcc is set to hold a charity gala at Roy’s Hotel and Concention Center Thursday night and the grand coronation night will be at the SMX Convention Center on Nov. 24.*
