A resort maintenance worker drowned in a river in Brgy. Pandanon Silos, Murcia, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The fatality, whose name was withheld by the police, was a 52-year-old worker from Brgy. Amayco. Murcia.
On Friday, Nov. 8, the victim told his siblings that he was not feeling well and left for work but did not return home, the police said.
At about 2:15 p.m. the next day, the body of the victim was found by a 23-year-old man while he was fishing in the Bago River in Brgy. Pandanon Silos.*
