Two dead persons were found in Negros Occidental towns on Friday, August 2, the police reported.
An unidentified man was found dead with gunshot wounds on his body in Sitio Estaca, Brgy. Alacaygan, E.B. Magalona.
He sustained gunshot wounds on his face, chest, and shoulder, and there was a grey belt tied around his neck, the police said.
The victim was wearing a red sando and grey shorts with a “Rene Tobongbanua” tattoo on his shoulder.
A 45-year-old farmer was also found dead in Sitio Manlama, Brgy. Montilla, Moises Padilla.
Investigation revealed that on Aug. 1 the victim informed his wife that he was going to a funeral in Sitio Balunggay in Brgy Montilla but never returned home.
His wife looked for him and found him lifeless inside a sugarcane field, about 1-kilometer away from their house.
The victim had stab wounds on his body that caused his death.*
