Two individuals were hacked in Negros Occidental on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 16 and 17, the police reported.
Alias “Baldo”, 35, a barangay peace security officer, was hacked in Sitio Nabataan, Brgy. Rizal, San Carlos City, on Tuesday.
The suspect was identified as alias “Mike”, 24, who is also from Barangay Rizal.
Baldo responded to a commotion at the residence of the suspect’s mother, when Mike drew his bolo and hacked the victim in the neck, the police reported.
The victim was brought to the San Carlos City Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect fled.
Meanwhile, a certain “Archie”, 43, was also hacked after a heated argument in Brgy. Zone 6, Cadiz City, at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree when a heated argument ensued between them.
The argument resulted to the suspect stabbing the victim several times in his abdomen using an ice pick.
The victim was brought to the Cadiz Emergency Clinic for medical treatment while the suspect fled.*
