The police arrested two high-value drug personalities and seized suspected shabu worth P564,400 and a firearm in a buy-bust operation at Sitio Peñahon, Brgy. Mina-utok, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, on Saturday. Feb. 15.
Arrested were alias “Nene”, 56, of Purok 3M’s, Brgy. Poblacion, Toboso, and alias “Abu”, 22, of Sitio Bigcat, Brgy. Minapasok, Calatrava, the police said.
The police seized suspected shabu weighing 83 grams.
Also confiscated during the operation was a .45 caliber pistol.
The suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the COMELEC Gun Ban.*
