Two suspects were arrested after police seized an estimated P102,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Purok 1, Brgy. IV-Poblacion, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental at around 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The police identified the suspects as alias Roy, 47, jobless, and a resident of Brgy. 1-Poblacion, and alias “Angelo”, 48, also jobless, of Brgy. IV-Poblacion.
Investigators said the two conspired in handing over one sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for marked money.
The confiscated item weighed about 15 grams.
The drug evidence was turned over to the Negros Occidental Provincial Forensic Unit for examination, while the suspects remain detained at the Himamaylan City Police Station.*
