Two concerts to raise funds for the construction of a chapel at Balaring, Silay City, and for the poor who are sick being cared for by the Siervas de Maria at Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City, are set, charity diva Token Lizares said Friday, September 2.
The Balaring chapel will be named in honor of St. Anthony De Padua.
The concert to raise funds for the construction of chapel will feature pop diva Kuh Ledesma and will be held at the La Proa Ballroom at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City 6 p.m. on November 5.
The concert will also feature Lizares, Viva artist Lance Raymundo, comedian Atak “Star” Araña, John Ryan Englis, Eliel Chadd Taguines and Zoe Anne Sy Lao.
Tickets are selling at P3,000, P2,000, P1,000 and P500, Lizares said.

A concert to help the poor who are sick and mentally ill being cared for by the Siervas de Maria will also be held at the Saltimboca Function Hall at 15th Street in Bacolod City 6 p.m. September 8, Lizares said.
“This is a birthday gift concert for a cause of Mama Mary,” she said.
The concert will feature Lizares, Retro Jam Fusion, Johnray Castiller, John Ryan Englis, Chadd Taguines, and Claudine Eliver.
