2 CLMMRH wards hit maximum capacity

Two wards at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City have reached their maximum capacity for COVID-19 allocated beds, Dr. Julius Drilon, CLMMRH chief, said Tuesday, May 25.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will limit admission to extreme emergency cases only until further notice, he said.

The rest of the departments at the hospital are also reaching maximum capacity, he said.

He said 23 CLMMRH personnel are currently COVID-19 positive.

The hospital also has 61 COVID-19 patients, six of whom are in the intensive care unit, he said.

There are also 21 other patients waiting for their COVID-19 test results, he added.

The hospital has collaborated and established communication with the Negros Occidental and Bacolod City governments to ensure the effective and efficient coordination of patient transfers, he said.

Drilon stressed the need to coordinate all patient transport through the CLMMRH Operations Center hotlines – 09171007093 or 7017865.*
