Two alleged street-level drug suspects were arrested while about P217,600 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City on Monday morning, Aug. 17.
The Bacolod City Police Office said the operation was conducted at around 4:06 a.m. in Purok Lubi, Brgy. 3.
Police identified the suspects as a 38-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both residents of the area.
Personnel of Police Station 2, together with the City Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted the operation.
Authorities recovered about 32 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street drug price of P217,600.
The two suspects were taken into police custody for proper disposition and the filing of charges for alleged violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
