About 133 police personnel and non-uniformed personnel underwent mandatory drug tests at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office headquarters in Bacolod City on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
NOCPPO Spokesperson Capt. Judesses Catalogo said it was part of the mandatory drug tests conducted monthly.
On Dec. 29 the NOCPPO conducted mandatory drug tests on about 300 police personnel and all yielded negative results, he said.
The results of the drug test conducted this week will be released by Friday.
This drug testing is part of NOCPPO’s commitment to ensure that police personnel are not using illegal drugs, Catalogo said.*
