A wife hacked her husband dead following a violent altercation in their home at Barangay Santa Cruz, Murcia, Negros Occidental, Tuesday night, March 1.
Killed was Florencio Dela Cruz, 67.
Capt. Jerald Muya, Murcia police chief, said the husband just came home and beat one of his children.
His 58-year-old wife, Luz Mary, tried to pacify them, but she was pushed by her husband, the police said.
She claimed that her husband was about to get a bolo, so she took one herself and hacked him to death.
She is now in police custody.*
