The Victorias City Sangguniang Panlungsod members passed a resolution expressing their full support to the “exceptional leadership” of Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez and Vice Mayor Aberlado Bantug III, in a special session at the Victorias SP Session Hall, on Tuesday, April 30.
All elected councilors of the city, including the Liga ng Barangay and Sanguniang Kabataan Federation presidents, unanimously approved Resolution 2024-1045 or “A resolution expressing full support and appreciation for the exceptional leadership of Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez and Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III in propelling the City of Victorias towards unprecedented progress and development”.
The resolution stated that under the leadership of Benitez and Bantug, Victorias has experienced unprecedented growth and advancements in the aspects of infrastructure development, environmental sustainability, government innovation, community empowerment, technology and connectivity, public safety and welfare, social welfare programs, and excellence and efficiency.
“The present administration under Mayor Benitez and Vice Mayor Bantug has effectively addressed challenges, demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness in propelling the City of Victorias towards unprecedented progress and prosperity,” the resolution said.
The resolution also said that the Sangguniang Panlungsod unanimously expresses, signifies, and confirms its “complete trust and confidence and unwavering full support and appreciation” to the mayor and vice mayor.*
