The Victorias City regular and casual employees received P50,000 each in bonuses this Christmas, Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez said Friday, Dec. 22.
It is the first time the city employees received a Collective Negotiation Agreement bonus of P15,000 each, which is part of the P50,000, he said.
The city has about 1,100 plus regular and casual employees.
The mayor also said that starting January the daily wage of the about 200 job order workers in Victorias will increase to P480 from the current P450.
There were also 28,000 Victoria’s households that received Christmas gift packs this December, he reiterated.*
