USLS achieves 100% passing rate; all 19 takers ace CPA board exam

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) in Bacolod City showed exceptional performance in the May 2023 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, achieving an outstanding 100 percent overall passing rate.

Results from the Professional Regulation Commission revealed that 13 first-time takers and six repeaters from the USLS successfully passed the exam, a press release from the university said Thursday, June 1.

The 19 new Lasallian CPAs are: Robert John Bacusa, Camille Marie Briones, Pearlene Joy Calibo, Christine May Camaymayan, Jorge Louis Detoyato, Jose Mario Sergio Diaz, Renerey Doruelo, Maita Cielo Flores, Angelica Louise Gomes;

Honey Claire Madrigal, Lois Ann Keziah Jose, Nap Brando Mahinay, Arnie Lyn Maratas, Maria Lyn Nanagad, Vanessa Olac, Evna Trisha Reboton, Khris Aira Sales, Edreah Nicole Sinining, and Paulhynn Tupas.

In the October 2022 CPALE, USLS also had 19 passers with Kate Marie Buencochillo landing second place in the examination.*
