Mayors Mark Golez of Silay City, Victor Gerardo Rojas of Murcia, Renato Gustilo of San Carlos City, Marvin Malacon of EB Magalona who are members of Love Negros, and Tongson, Dela Cruz, Mirasol and Mangilimutan of UNegA have officially announced their support for the Lacson and Ferrer tandem in 2022.
Tongson said they are respecting the equity of the incumbent agreement in Himamaylan City.
SALVADOR BENEDICTO
Dela Cruz said Salvador Benedicto town and the whole of the first district will go all out in their support for Lacson and Ferrer.
He lauded them for running the province well and for the delivery of needed projects to Salvador Benedicto.
LA CASTELLANA
Mangilimutan said all her allies in La Castellana will also go all out for Lacson and Ferrer because they have not neglected the needs of her town.
Lacson, who is a member of Love Negros, has not let it get in the way of his supporting her town even if she is from UNegA, Mangilimutan said.
IN MURCIA
“With Gov. Lacson and Vice Gov. Ferrer at the helm, our provincial government has delivered numerous government programs and services for Murcia. Our town has always been a priority of the Lacson-Ferrer administration. Thus, I and all Murcia officials want to reciprocate their support by helping ensure their victory in next year’s elections,” Rojas said.
Rojas is running for reelection under Love Negros headed by Lacson.
“We will also campaign whole-heartedly for the re-election of Cong. Francisco “Kiko” Benitez as representative of the Third Legislative District of Negros Occidental, because he has also been hugely instrumental in delivering basic programs and services to the people of Murcia,” he added.
The mayor disclosed that Benitez facilitated the opening of the Central Philippine State University Murcia Extension Classes, which are set to start on September 20. The CPSU extension classes provide an opportunity for Murciahanon students to avail of free quality tertiary education, he said.*
