Seven young archers represented Negros Occidental and Bacolod Trinity Christian School at the World Archery Philippines 17th 2023 Archery Grassroot Archery Development Program Leg 1 in Marikina City, recently.
They were led by their Coach and United Negrense Archery Club (UNAC) president, Blaire Ejercito.
After the Qualifying Round (QR) and eliminations:
U13 Girls:
Mishka Ejercito – ranked 8 in the QR, reached the quarterfinals.
U15 Boys:
Antoine Maleza – ranked 12 in the QR
Lance Yu – ranked 13 in the QR
Kent Nacion – ranked 7 in the QR, reached the quarterfinals.
Yñigo Española – ranked 9 in the QR, reached the quarterfinals.
U15 Girls:
Unna Ejercito – ranked 4 in the QR, reached the quarterfinals.
U18 Women
Margaux Yang – ranked 14 in the QR, reached the 1/8 elimination
