Two soldiers of the Army’s 15th Infantry Battalion on board a motorcycle were killed in an ambush at Sitio Cambaga, Barangay Yao-yao, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, 2:20 p.m. on Black Saturday, April 3, Maj. Cenon Pancito, Army 3rd Infantry Division information chief, said.
They were killed by suspected New People’s Army rebels as they were traversing a dirt road in a remote area, he said.
He withheld the names of the two soldiers as their families have yet to be informed that they were killed.*
