Two most wanted persons for rape arrested in NegOr

Two individuals listed as Provincial Level Most Wanted Persons were arrested in separate police operations in Negros Oriental on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

In Guihulngan City, the 8th most wanted person was arrested in Brgy. Poblacion by joint operatives of the Guihulngan City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit–NIR, and Dumaguete City Police Station.

The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant issued by Regional Trial Branch 44 Judge Richelle Alistado Noblefranca in Dumaguete City for the crime of rape.

Later that evening, at around 8:37 p.m., the 10th most wanted person in the province was arrested at Del Pilar Street, Zamboanguita, by personnel of the Zamboanguita Police Station Intelligence and Drug Enforce units, led by PCapt. Andrew L. Anque.

The suspect was wanted for Qualified Rape of a Minor under Criminal Case No. 2025-31123, a non-bailable offense.

Both suspects are now under police custody.*
