Two persons were arrested and illegal drugs worth about P578,000 were seized during a buy-bust operation in Purok Narra Baybay, Brgy. 8, Bacolod City, 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Police identified the suspects as alias “Jervy,” 38, and alias “Christine,” 20.
Operatives of the Bacolod Police Station 2 Station Drug Enforcement Team and Intelligence Unit, who conducted the operation, said they recovered around 85 grams of suspected shabu from the suspects.
The suspects, who were taken to Police Station 2, will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
