Officials of Tricastle International Inc. led the inauguration and unveiling of the L. Tinsay Development Center in Purok Lote, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Construction of the center began in 2019, but due to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and other factors, it took seven years to complete. The project was finished by NJ Builders, a sister company of Tricastle International, which specializes in sending skilled workers to Japan.
Japanese partners of Tricastle International—including representatives and officials from Marutora and the Multi Contractors Cooperative of Japan—attended the event as honored guests.
The second floor of the building features classrooms for local and overseas employment training, while the third floor houses various administrative offices.
“The new building will be a major boost to our operations and planned expansion,” said Murcia Vice Mayor Johnny Reosura, who serves as the vice president of Tricastle International and president of NJ Builders.
The facility is named after the president of Tricastle International, Leah Tinsay, in recognition of her contributions and dedication. Tinsay described the completion of the building as a dream come true.
Reflecting on the company’s growth, Tinsay noted that 21 years ago, Tricastle started by sending only four Filipinos to Japan, and has since deployed over a thousand workers.
She expressed her gratitude for the continued support from their partners and various government agencies over the years.*
