TP in the Philippines, a global leader in digital business services formerly known as Teleperformance, recently reaffirmed its commitment to cultural inclusion and community engagement through its high-profile support of the annual Bacolaodiat Festival.

The vibrant celebration, marking the Lunar New Year, drew thousands of residents and tourists to the heart of Bacolod for a colorful showcase of Filipino-Chinese heritage, traditions, and shared history.

Organized by the local government and the Filipino-Chinese community, the three-day event has evolved into one of the city’s most significant cultural milestones, featuring traditional performances, food fairs, and exhibits designed to promote prosperity and unity.

Building on its successful participation in previous years, TP elevated its presence in the 2026 festivities by deploying a series of interactive and immersive experience booths.

These installations were crafted to engage festivalgoers through culturally inspired visuals and tech-driven storytelling that highlighted the traditional significance of the Chinese New Year.

According to TP in the Philippines Senior Marketing Manager Levi Trio, the company’s setup was designed to perfectly blend the rich heritage of the Bacolaodiat Festival with a modern, tech-forward experience, offering visitors a unique brand of immersive entertainment.

Among the festival highlights were the digital challenges hosted at the TP installations, including the Interactive Zodiac Match Game where guests raced against the clock to match the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs.

Tech-savvy visitors also flocked to the “Fortune & Frosting” Virtual Tarot Reading booth, while others tested their luck at the Virtual Lucky Ang Pau for a chance to win exclusive TP merchandise delivered in traditional red envelopes.

These photo-worthy installations, inspired by Chinese symbols of luck and abundance, became a primary attraction for families, young professionals, and cultural enthusiasts throughout the celebration.

TP’s sustained support for the Bacolaodiat Festival underscores its broader mission to foster inclusivity and celebrate diversity within the regions where it operates. Having established its Bacolod site in 2006, the organization has provided livelihood opportunities to thousands of locals for two decades, cementing its role as a cornerstone of the local economy.
