The police arrested the most wanted person at the municipal level and third at the provincial level in Brgy. Poblacion, Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
The suspect, whose name was withheld, is facing multiple charges for statutory rape and acts of lasciviousness filed before Regional Trial Court Branch 102 in Guihulngan City.
The court did not recommend bail for his temporary liberty.
The arrest was carried out by operatives of the Vallehermoso Police Station with support from the Regional Intelligence Unit–Negros Island Region.
The suspect is now under police custody.*
