The death toll from Typhoon Tino in Negros rose to 98 with the bodies of two more missing persons found, an Office of Civil Defense (OCD) official said Tuesday, Dec. 2.
One fatality was from Bago City while the other has yet to be identified, OCD Negros Island Region Director Donato Sermeno III said.
There are still 38 Negros residents missing, he said.
Most of the dead and missing were victims of flash floods.*
