
Typhoon “Tino” affected 56,774 families (189,086 individuals) in 432 barangays in 31 towns and cities in Negros Occidental, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office reported at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The PDRRMO said 107,473 of those affected sought shelter in evacuation centers.
It also reported that 10 houses were destroyed and 116 were damaged in Bago City.
There were also seven houses in EB Magalona and four in Sipalay City that were damaged, the PDRRMO added.*
