A man survived an attempt on his life at Purok Lampirong, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, Sunday night, December 12.The victim was identified as 30-year-old Jason "Langgok" Olvidado.Police said the victim was beside a well pump when he was shot in the left eye by an unidentified assailant who wore a yellow raincoat.He was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting.*

The Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Park and Lagoon in Bacolod City was reopened to persons of all ages for any purpose, including leisure, starting Monday, December 13.Gov.
