Photo from Em Ang FB pageThe Bacolod City government is unlikely to hit the Department of Health target for it to vaccinate 66,171 persons in three days but will try its very best to inoculate as many persons as it can, Executive Director Em Legaspi Ang of the Bacolod Emergency Operations Center-Task Force, said Thursday, November 25.The target set by the DOH is for the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan National Covid-19 Vaccination Days” from November 29 to December 1.Ang said they cannot hit the target of 22,000 vaccinees a day, the city vaccination drive is averaging 6,000 to 7,000 a day, with the highest number in a single day at 13,420.However, she said mass mobilization is under way to ensure that more residents submit themselves for vaccination during those three days.*
