Stars lead closing concerts of MassKara fest at BCGC

The Viva One artists at the BCGC stage Sunday night.*

Actors Matteo Guidicelli, Jerome Ponce, and Wilbert Ross led the closing concerts of the MassKara Festival at the Bacolod City Government Center drawing an estimated crowd of close to 16,000 Sunday night, October 22.

Artists from Viva One Ponce, Ross, Hyacinth Callado, Nicole Omillo, Aubrey Caraan, Krissha Viaje, Frost Sandoval, and Andre Yllana graced the BCGC stage through song and dance performances.

Guidicelli, who was an unexpected guest at the closing concerts, surprised the BCGC crowd when he went up the stage.

He was promoting his “Penduko” film, which will be shown during Christmas at the Metro Manila Film Festival.

The artists also had interactions with the fans and the crowd as they hosted mini-games on stage and gave away gift packs and freebies from the online streaming channel, Viva One.

An exclusive meet and greet with the artists was also held at the BCGC lobby after their show.

According to the police, the estimated crowd at the closing concerts was about 16,000.

With the crowd-drawing celebrity concert, the accumulated crowd estimate at the BCGC grounds that opened for the festival from Oct. 6 to 22, was close to 100,000.

Other highlight events at the BCGC were the Grand Opening Salubong, the Taylor Sheesh concert, Bacolod Kids Runway, Super Pets Parade, MassKaReyna, and Electric MassKara.*
